There is a tree mum and dad planted at home(Eucalyptus caesia) that has become my favourite tree on the property. The whole ever so slow process from gumnut to flower is so intriguing. Each moment in time is precious, with the flowers blooming after their little caps fall to the ground, revealing the most beautiful and intricate blossoms.
