As the name suggests, I grew up 15 minutes from Marysville, in a town called Taggerty. Right beneath the beautiful Cathedral Ranges hidden amongst bushland. I am so grateful to have experienced my childhood in this area, frolicking about outside with my siblings and parents, exploring all that the world has to offer. It has inevitibly inspired me in many different ways as an artist and person, and I am thrilled to be exhibiting back home.
I hope you enjoy my artworks in the collection. Home can mean many different things to different people I’m sure. It can be a place,a feeling, a person or thing. There is no place like home, if you ask me - spending time with my family and treasure hunting outside innature, listening to the birds, looking for the resident Wallaby (a.k.a Walby), and simply feeling free and happy and inspired.
This will always be the place I call home.
Love, Fern xx
